This election, and this year, has all of us feeling a little anxious. For small businesses and those who work for them, this year has been particularly hard.

With the money Pierce County got from the federal government through the CARES Act, we have prioritized getting small businesses the support they need. We’ve issued loans to keep people employed, distributed free personal protective equipment to help businesses operate safely, and provided direct financial assistance to help struggling businesses keep their lights on.

Most recently, the Pierce County Council adopted a new program called the “Pierce County Restaurant Rally.” This program helps protect jobs at local restaurants, and as part of this program, you’ll enjoy 30% off your bill when you eat at a participating restaurant between November 8-19 (excluding Friday and Saturday). You can read more about the program here!
